We are currently seeking a Volleyball Program Site Coordinator to join our energetic team. This is a one of-a-kind opportunity for the right individual to build a career in the Sports Industry and grow within the company. Volleyball site staff are responsible for organizing the league games on day of shift following a provided schedule, setting up any necessary equipment, understanding and enforcing rules and safety guidelines in a friendly, competitive environment. This is an evening part-time role, great for anyone who likes volleyball, enjoys meeting new people, and is looking for supplemental income.

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand and kindly enforce the rules at the level of the league (rec, competitive, advanced)

• Should be familiar with volleyball equipment set up, have prior experience setting up or willingness to learn.

• Communicate with Volleyball Program Manager regarding any equipment, rule questions, player issues, needs etc.

• Ensure a safe, fun, social and fair environment for all players. Staff could be expected to advertise upcoming leagues, keep score of games using a provided scoreboard and play appropriate music on a Bluetooth speaker to help with creating a fun environment.

• Check in players each night and share scores with the Volleyball Program Manager for all matches of the night at the end of each shift.

Qualifications:

• Shift times are available for a minimum of seven weeks with some leagues running year-round.

• Should have played the sport before.

• Must have reliable transportation to and from field locations, might have to transport nets for outdoor leagues.

What We Look For:

• People with a passion for sports and social activities • Must value punctuality and professionalism.

• Prior hosting/referee experience a plus, but not required.

• Experience in diffusing challenging situations a plus

Job Pay – Hours – Locations: • $25 Hourly Rate for On-Site Management of existing Volleyball Programs.

• Shift times available are in the Weeknight evenings Monday – Thursday with some Sundays.

• Hours can range anytime from 5:30pm – 10:30pm with a minimum of 3 hours.

• Indoor Gym & Outdoor Field Locations include Hyde Park, Brighton, Cambridge, Boston, Natick, Hanover with the potential for more locations to be added this Winter. ***Looking for Site Coordinators willing to work anywhere from 1 night a week to 4 nights a week***

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
