Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure proper storage of all beverages according to food safety standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with health regulations.
- Develop creative beverage recipes and suggest pairings to elevate the guest experience.
- Collaborate with team members to manage busy service periods seamlessly while ensuring excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or high-volume hospitality settings.
- Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, wine varieties, brewing processes, and cocktail techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficient in cash handling and basic math for transactions.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Experience with food safety standards, food handling, and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively within a team environment.
- Prior banquet or catering experience is a plus; hospitality or retail math skills are beneficial.
