Essential Job Functions
- Update employee payroll records by reviewing and entering changes
- Review and import time card information
- Respond to employee/management inquiries and requests regarding payroll matters
- Process employee transfers between multiple payroll companies
- Work with tax filing in maintaining and balancing quarterly/annual filings and correcting out-of-balance conditions
- Prepare and process state work-site reporting filings
- Review computed wages and taxes to ensure the accuracy of earnings
- Complete special projects and or other assigned tasks on an as needed basis
- Ability to prioritize workload efficiently and meet deadlines
- Monitor employee leave situations to accurately pay employees
- Process manual payments
- Maintain strict confidentiality
- College degree preferred
- Experience with payroll processing
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Able to handle confidential information
