Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for Owner Operators based in Little Rock, AR. Owner Operators will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently, following designated routes, schedules, and delivery requirements. Daily tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate logs and documentation, and complying with all DOT, safety, and company regulations. The role involves coordinating with dispatch and terminal staff, ensuring on-time pickups and deliveries, and communicating proactively about delays or issues. Owner Operators are expected to maintain their equipment in good working condition, uphold professional customer service standards, and support Hub Group’s commitment to high-quality, reliable transportation services.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL and clean driving record, with current DOT medical certification.
• Proven experience as an Owner Operator or professional commercial driver, preferably in intermodal or regional freight.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, hours-of-service rules, and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to manage schedules, maintain accurate logs, and use dispatch or routing technology as required.
• Reliable, well-maintained tractor that meets Hub Group’s equipment standards.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work on-site in Little Rock, AR and commit to a full-time operating schedule.
• Willingness to comply with background checks, drug and alcohol testing, and other regulatory requirements.
