Essential Job Functions
The ideal candidate should be able to develop a strong relationship with the customer contacts and gain their trust as a member of the Hub team supporting their business while on site in the customer’s office.
Duties To Include
- Answering general customer questions
- Communicating customer needs to the rest of the team in the Hub office
- Providing shipment status updates upon request
- Appointment scheduling
- Paperwork retrieval on delivered shipments
- Finalizing shipment data for invoicing.
- Additional duties that may be required to support the customer on site in their office.
- Ideal candidates should have the following experience:
- 5-10 years in a transportation or shipping related position preferred
- 2 years in a customer service related position
- General knowledge of LTL, TL, and IML mode of transportation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with emphasis on Outlook, Excel, Word
- Highly effective communication, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and customer focused
