Company Description Hub Grinding is a professional knife sharpening company serving high-productivity kitchens through our knife exchange program. We provide restaurants with knife kits on automatic schedules.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Delivery Driver role based in Walpole, MA. The Delivery Driver will pick up and deliver knife kits and related products to local and regional customer locations, ensuring timely, accurate, and safe transportation. Responsibilities include loading and unloading vehicles, verifying delivery documentation, maintaining basic vehicle cleanliness, and following all safety and traffic regulations. The role also involves interacting with kitchen and corporate staff, answering basic service questions, and representing Hub Grinding in a professional, customer-focused manner. The Delivery Driver may assist with organizing inventory, coordinating schedules with the operations team, and supporting occasional warehouse tasks as needed.
$22.00/hour
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Ability to support training activities, such as explaining delivery procedures or basic product handling to customer staff.
- Comfort working with food & beverage environments, including commercial kitchens, is an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to meet company driving and safety standards.
- Reliable time management, attention to detail, and ability to follow delivery routes and schedules.
- Physical ability to lift and move packages and equipment in a safe manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in delivery, logistics, or related fields is a plus.
