Job Description:
We are a growing property management company seeking a reliable, full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, dependable, and capable of handling a variety of maintenance tasks—primarily plumbing—with some electrical and HVAC work as needed.
We are looking for someone who shows up consistently, takes pride in their work, and maintains a positive, problem-solving attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to and complete maintenance work orders in a timely manner
- Diagnose and repair plumbing issues (approximately 70% of workload)
- Perform basic electrical and HVAC troubleshooting and repairs
- Conduct general property maintenance and repairs as needed
- Communicate updates and job status clearly
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation (required)
- Own basic tools (required)
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week)
- Strong dependability and work ethic
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Comfortable using basic technology (phone apps, work order systems, etc.)
- Experience in maintenance, plumbing, or related trades preferred
Preferred (but not required):
- Plumbing experience
- General maintenance or handyman experience
- Electrical or HVAC knowledge
(HVAC certification not required)
