Responsibilities
- Safely operate vans to transport clients to medical appointments, pharmacies, and other destinations.
- Assist passengers with mobility challenges and securement of mobility devices.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal safety and performance.
- Communicate clearly with clients to provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and ensure a positive experience.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during every trip.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and client information in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with dispatch and support staff to coordinate schedules and optimize routes efficiently.
Experience
- Prior shuttle driving or delivery driver experience is highly preferred.
- Experience operating buses, limousines, or commercial vehicles such as heavy-duty trucks or school buses is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Knowledge of paratransit services or specialized transportation for individuals with disabilities is advantageous.
- Ability to perform lifting safely when assisting passengers or handling equipment.
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for commercial driving; CDL license is a plus.
