What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpenter position at Hub City Construction?
We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team. They should have a strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and materials, as well as the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
What You’ll Do:
Build structures from the foundation all the way to installing trim.
Repair or replace damaged framing and trim in historic homes.
Work with other trades (plumbers, electricians, etc.) on projects.
Keep tools and work areas organized and in good condition.
Make sure work meets safety and quality standards.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous carpentry experience (residential or commercial).
Comfortable using a variety of tools and equipment.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team.
Physically fit and able to handle lifting, climbing, and standing for long periods.
Valid driver’s license is a plus.
Work Conditions:
Mix of indoor and outdoor work depending on the project.
Full-time hours with overtime opportunities at busy times.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
