The Director, Solutions Delivery is accountable for the end‑to‑end delivery, architecture integrity, and operational excellence of HuFriedyGroup’s digital platforms and enterprise solutions. This leader ensures digital products—defined by Product Management—are designed, built, integrated, and operated in a way that is secure, scalable, reliable, and aligned to enterprise architecture standards.
Operating as both a hands‑on delivery leader and people leader, this role partners closely with Digital Product Management, Enterprise Technology, Data & Analytics, and external partners to translate product intent into high‑quality, production‑ready solutions. The Director of Solution Delivery owns execution discipline, delivery predictability, platform reliability, and technical health across the digital ecosystem.
The scope and expectations of the role include:
- Delivery Counterpart to Product: Owns how solutions are delivered, integrated, and operated—while Product owns what and why.
- Player Coach: Initially hands‑on in shaping architecture decisions, delivery plans, and execution while building a scalable delivery organization.
- Enterprise Focus: Accountable for platform integrity, technical debt management, security, and operational resilience across multiple solutions—not a single project.

- End-to-end solution delivery across digital commerce, customer experience, and enterprise platforms
- Architecture quality, scalability, and alignment to enterprise standards (e.g., MACH, composable architecture)
- Delivery predictability, execution health, and release quality
- Platform reliability, performance, and operational excellence
- Vendor and system integrator performance and accountability
- Technical debt, cost transparency (CapEx / OpEx), and lifecycle management
Key Responsibilities:
1) Lead End‑to‑End Solution Delivery
- Own the delivery lifecycle from architecture and planning through build, launch, and run.
- Ensure solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and at the expected quality bar.
- Partner closely with Product Management to translate roadmaps into executable delivery plans.
2) Architecture Leadership & Governance
- Design and guide enterprise‑level solution architectures that are scalable, secure, and commercially viable.
- Lead architecture governance, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards, security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Define and maintain target‑state architectures and roadmaps aligned to business and digital strategy.
3) Platform & Integration Excellence
- Ensure strong integration patterns across SaaS platforms, headless services, APIs, and enterprise systems.
- Promote composable, reusable capabilities and reduce platform fragmentation.
- Partner with Enterprise Technology to align solution delivery with long‑term technology strategy.
4) Operational Excellence & Reliability
- Own operational performance across digital platforms, including availability, scalability, performance, and incident response.
- Establish robust monitoring, alerting, and post‑incident review practices.
- Drive continuous improvement using operational metrics and insights.
5) Innovation & Modern Engineering Practices
- Champion modern delivery and engineering practices, including DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and AI‑enabled software engineering.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to improve speed, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Balance innovation with stability and enterprise risk considerations.
- Apply agile methodology software development lifecycle framework (iterative development mindset)
6) Financial & Technical Health Management
- Align delivery and architecture decisions with financial objectives, managing total cost of ownership (TCO).
- Provide transparency into delivery costs, risks, and tradeoffs.
7) Partner & Vendor Leadership
- Lead and manage system integrators, vendors, and technology partners.
- Ensure vendor roadmaps, delivery quality, and commercial terms align with HuFriedyGroup priorities.
- Hold partners accountable for outcomes, not just effort.
8) Build & Lead a High‑Performing Delivery Organization
- Build, lead, and develop high‑performing delivery and engineering teams across onshore and offshore models.
- Establish strong delivery standards, ways of working, and performance expectations.
- Mentor leaders and develop next‑generation technical and delivery talent.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in IT solution delivery, architecture, and operations, with leadership responsibility for enterprise-scale platforms.

- Strong experience leading delivery in matrixed, cross-functional environments.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business and product requirements into scalable technology solutions.
- Deep understanding of modern digital architecture patterns (e.g. MACH, composable architecture, APIs).
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in an Agile Development environment.

- Experience with Shopify, Customer Data Platforms, PIM and ERPs (SAP)
