Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced Technical Sales Specialist to develop and maintain relationships with industrial clients in the heat treating services sector. This is an opportunity to join an established industry leader with a proven track record and strong market presence.
Key Requirements
- Established relationships with Gulf Coast refineries and chemical plants
- Proven track record of securing and maintaining major industrial accounts
- 3 years sales experience in industrial/O&G sector
- Active network within regional facilities
- Technical understanding of heat treating processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid TWIC card and driver's license
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Optional: NDT background could be useful
Core Responsibilities
- Leverage existing industry relationships to develop new business
- Manage key facility accounts and turnaround contracts
- Assess and fulfill clients' heat-treating requirements
- Achieve revenue targets and KPIs aligned with company strategy
- Conduct client site visits and technical consultations
- Generate and follow up on service quotes
- Implement strategic marketing initiatives
- Represent company at industry events
- Maintain detailed sales activity reports and forecasts
