Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CNC Programmer role based in San Jose, CA. The CNC Programmer will create, revise, and optimize CNC programs for milling and machining operations to meet part specifications, quality standards, and production schedules. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions; selecting appropriate tools, fixtures, and machining parameters; and setting up or supporting setup of CNC equipment. The role also involves troubleshooting machining issues, collaborating with machinists and engineers to improve processes, and documenting program changes and best practices. The CNC Programmer will help ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards while supporting continuous improvement in the shop. Person will be programming and setting up for 3 axis and 4 axis Horizontal machines. If person can program and set up Lathe machines as well it will be a big plus to negotiate.
Programming Software: Fusion 360 and FeatureCam (if person has own software that can be used as well)

Pay range $45-$55 starting with experience but can be negotiated.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints, including GD&T and tight tolerance requirements.
- Strong CNC Programming skills for milling and machining operations, including program creation, editing, and optimization. 7 years minimum experience.
- Hands-on experience with machining and milling processes, including tooling selection, workholding, and setup support.
- General programming aptitude for CNC controls (e.g., FANUC, Haas, or similar) and familiarity with Fusion 360 or FeatureCam
- Previous experience in a precision manufacturing environment, ideally serving medical, aerospace, or semiconductor industries.
- Understanding of quality standards and inspection practices; experience working within ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 environments is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow documented procedures and safety guidelines.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with machinists, engineers, and quality personnel.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certificate in machining, manufacturing technology, or related field is preferred.
Salary : $45 - $55
