HTI is hiring a Maintenance Team Lead for a leading automotive manufacturer in Summerville, SC. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced maintenance leader to oversee plant maintenance operations, improve equipment reliability, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You'll Do
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll lead maintenance operations to maximize equipment uptime, ensure safe work practices, and support production goals. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities for production equipment and plant systems.
- Develop and manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
- Drive improvements in equipment reliability, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), MTTR, and MTBF.
- Plan labor resources and prioritize maintenance activities to support production schedules.
- Manage the maintenance budget and capital expenditure requirements.
- Oversee maintenance inventory, spare parts, and maintenance storeroom organization.
- Coordinate outside contractors and ensure compliance with plant safety requirements.
- Support new equipment installations, launches, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure maintenance work complies with company standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
- Partner with production, engineering, quality, logistics, and EHS teams to improve plant performance.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 7-9 years of industrial maintenance experience with complex manufacturing equipment.
- Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience.
- Technical certification or equivalent experience in one or more of the following:
- Mechanical
- Electrical
- Hydraulics
- Pneumatics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience developing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Ability to lead teams and manage maintenance priorities in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Preferred Experience
- Automotive manufacturing experience.
- Experience with TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or World Class Manufacturing (WCM).
- Knowledge of maintenance KPIs including OEE, MTTR, and MTBF.
- Experience managing maintenance budgets and outside contractors.
- Familiarity with safety systems including LOTO and environmental standards.
