HTH undertakes value-add and opportunistic developments in emerging and growing neighborhoods. Projects range from rental and condo conversion to asset repositioning and ground-up construction.
Role Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and detailed-oriented Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee a residential ground-up construction from initiation to completion. The Construction PM will be responsible for managing project scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, and client satisfaction while coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Lead all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules (e.g., using MS Project or Primavera), and budgets.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with building codes, contracts, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Supervise site personnel and support field operations to resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain strong client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
- Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals and shop drawings, substitution requests and meeting minutes.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site visits, safety audits, and project status meetings.
- Prepare and present progress reports, cost tracking, and change order documentation.
- Mentor and support junior project managers and site supervisors.
Compensation
The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives and benefits.
Anticipated base salary range: $150,000
Actual base salary within the anticipated range will be determined by several components including, but not limited to, the individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and market factors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- 8 years of progressive experience in ground-up construction project management with a general contractor.
- Detail-oriented and self-driven individual.
- Proven experience managing large-scale residential ground-up projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, scheduling, cost control, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in BIM/CAD programs for takeoffs and construction detailing, including AutoCAD, Revit, and Blue Beam.
- Proficiency in Procore for construction project management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- PMP or equivalent certification (preferred).
- OSHA 30 certification (preferred).
- Fluent in English required. Ability to communicate in Mandarin (preferred).
