Summary/Objective
The
Asset Retirement Technician position will work under the supervision of the ITAD Life Cycle Manager
to process IT assets for resale, refurbishment, or recycling.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to,
testing/refurbishing equipment, accurately entering inventory in a database.
To succeed in this role, the individual should have customer service skills and attention to detail,
as well as knowledge of or desire to learn about IT equipment.
Essential Functions

- Test and refurbish IT equipment
- Enter product details and specifications into an inventory database
- Clean refurbished products for remarketing
- Cultivate positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in all department and company policies, procedures and processes.
- Maintain warehouse environment to HTG standards as assigned
- Report consistently and on time to work
- Report on time and consistently to all team meetings
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned

This job operates in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and box cutters.
