HTF Staffing is seeking 2 Special Education Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year in the Goodyear, AZ. We have openings in both an Autism classroom and a Resource classroom.
Open Positions:
1. K–1 Autism Classroom
- Location: Goodyear, AZ 85323
- Student Population: Kindergarten–1st Grade
- Caseload: Approximately 8 students
2. 5th Grade Resource Teacher
- Location: Goodyear, AZ 85338
- Student Population: 5th Grade
- Caseload: Approximately 16 students
Position Details
- Start Date: July 29, 2026
- End Date: May 21, 2027
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Wednesdays are a half day with students. Teachers are expected to attend professional development. Candidates who choose not to attend professional development will work 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction to students receiving special education services.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families.
- Maintain accurate documentation and student progress records.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona Special Education Certification (required).
- Previous school-based Special Education experience preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
