Key Responsibilities:
- Drive period-end close activities for several entities; including preparation of assigned account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, inventory accounting and analyses in accordance with GAAP.
- Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations and variance explanations for monthly flux analysis.
- Supervise accounting specialist responsible for day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather data, align processes, and improve workflows.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls by identifying and introducing new ideas and solutions to create efficiencies and streamline processes.
- Research and resolve complex accounting issues and discrepancies.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff.
- Drive special projects, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
- In addition to having a strong grasp of US GAAP, the ideal candidate will bring 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, and will be
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.

- Comfortable working in the details.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
