Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and floor care to maintain pristine environments.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health and safety standards are met consistently.
- Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely to clean surfaces such as countertops, windows, bathrooms, and kitchens.
- Conduct outdoor work when necessary, maintaining cleanliness of patios, walkways, and outdoor furniture.
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or supplies with proper technique to prevent injury.
- Communicate effectively with clients or residents to understand specific cleaning needs and preferences.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability in residential cleaning with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper usage for various surfaces.
- Experience with carpet cleaning and specialized floor care techniques.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools.
- Outdoor work experience preferred for maintaining exterior spaces.
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes while maintaining high-quality standards.
