Job Title : Senior Salesforce Application Architect
Position Overview
Play a key role in modernizing enterprise child welfare and state hospital systems by architecting scalable Salesforce solutions that support critical public services. This position focuses on designing high-availability applications across the Salesforce platform while providing technical leadership for enterprise development initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end architecture and technical design of enterprise Salesforce solutions.
- Design solutions supporting case management, field service operations, and user engagement.
- Conduct Salesforce org health assessments and recommend platform improvements using Salesforce best practices.
- Participate in Design & Discovery activities and promote Salesforce Well-Architected Framework principles.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Lead proof-of-concepts to validate technical feasibility and business value.
- Guide development teams through secure application development lifecycle (SADLC) practices.
- Plan and coordinate integrations across internal systems, external partners, and hosting platforms.
- Ensure application security, performance, regulatory compliance, and architectural standards.
- Provide technical leadership, impact analysis, release readiness support, and mentorship to development teams.
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of experience gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements with stakeholders
- 5 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce, SQL, Java, and web services development
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, including pipeline-as-code, branching strategies, automated code reviews, and testing
- 2–3 Salesforce certifications
- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Salesforce Architect certification
- Experience with enterprise-level Salesforce implementations
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Strong Oracle SQL development and performance tuning experience
- DevOps experience including automated builds, regression/smoke testing, and multi-environment deployments
- Database-related certifications
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and provide technical leadership
