The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable applications, developing user interfaces and backend services, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand use cases, pain points, and requirements while advocating for user-centric software solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and deliver software solutions using modern tools, frameworks, methodologies, and technologies.
- Evaluate application requirements and determine appropriate technology stacks, integration methods, and deployment strategies.
- Create high-level software architecture designs, including application structure, components, and interfaces.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, architects, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Define and implement software testing strategies, guidelines, policies, and processes.
- Continuously improve application performance and optimize development efficiency through new technologies and best practices.
- Apply software engineering practices including test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration (CI), and continuous delivery (CD).
- Support security best practices to safeguard user data, including encryption and anonymization.
- Design and develop user-friendly, interactive user interfaces.
- Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices using server-side technologies.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies and capabilities to enhance software solutions.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 6 years of IT experience.
- 4 years of software development experience.
- Practical experience in two programming languages or advanced proficiency in one programming language.
- Strong experience with Java.
- Experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Angular.
- Experience with REST APIs.
- Experience with CSS.
- Experience using GitHub.
- Experience with Jenkins.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience building and supporting microservices architectures.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with zero-downtime and blue-green deployment strategies.
- Experience with database schema management and migrations.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies.
- Experience integrating third-party services.
- Understanding of HIPAA and PII data handling and encryption best practices.
