Key Responsibilities
- Lead teams of hourly, bargaining employees in material handling operations
- Support daily production by ensuring timely material receiving and delivery
- Troubleshoot operational issues and allocate resources/manpower to resolve them
- Interact with all organizational levels, including hourly employees, salaried staff, and executive leadership
- Manage manpower, including absenteeism, training, and production system involvement
- Collaborate with union leadership to address team member concerns
- Monitor and replenish production line-side inventory levels
- Manage material handling equipment, including safe operating procedures and maintenance coordination
- Prepare daily reports on safety, quality, throughput performance, and inventory control
- Participate in and promote lean production activities
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work any shift and overtime as required
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
- Public speaking skills
