Java Project Manager
Job Description:
This role is responsible for the planning and execution of projects/programs delivering solutions for application supporting client. In addition, able to demonstrate strong collaboration in delivering technical initiatives, quickly turning concepts into functioning code.
Key Responsibilities:
Project /Project Manager
- Ability to deliver SharePoint and GCP Applications to support client processes
- Team coordination, process improvements, presentation development, documentation, testing, migrations, and any other support needs
- Facilitate software development by monitoring an efficient, streamlined deployment process ensuring as much consistency for application-specific needs
- Effectively communicate status updates to all stakeholders across organization/ teams, with reinforcing quantitative measurements
- Serve as liaison between working onshore & offshore programming teams, client & IT to implement and maintain optimized and streamlined processes for each application and project
- Jira Clean-Up – Facilitate ticket reviews to ensure all items are updated, resolved, or closed, preventing tickets from remaining inactive for more than six months
- Manage DEV, QA & Prod environments for fixes, changes and implementation
- Create and maintain timing, budget & Rollout of applications
- Align, manage, and implement Release Dates, Fix Versions and Sprints in Jira
- Partner with cross functional teams to deliver functioning code against the technical vision, technical strategy
- Deliver functional capabilities that are aligned to timelines and roadmaps.
- Product Management, Management Methodology, Project Management, SharePoint, GCP, Jira
- Java programming
- Process Development, Microsoft SharePoint, Performance Tuning, Development Online Documentation, Scrum (Software Development), and proven Java programming solutions
- GCP
- 6 Years PM Experience including IT experience
- 1 coding language or framework
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience and, or
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or a combination of equivalent experience and education
- Experience as Full Stack3 years developing APIs using back-end technologies
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, database design, and SQL Queries
- Experience working with cloud platforms like GCP, Azure, or AWS
