The ideal candidate is experienced in modern engineering practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), collaborative coding, and continuous delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and modern web technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and architecture to align technical solutions with business needs
- Create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes; participate in UI design reviews and product demonstrations
- Implement automated functional and UI testing using modern testing frameworks
- Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to ensure high code quality
- Optimize application performance by identifying bottlenecks and resolving issues
- Implement monitoring and instrumentation to track application health and performance
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, SEO best practices, and accessibility compliance
- Work in an Agile environment with iterative development, including pairing and collaborative coding sessions
- Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and UI/UX trends
- Provide application support, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis
- Develop scripts to automate testing, deployment, and repetitive processes
- Conduct performance and stress testing to ensure application stability under load
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of professional experience in frontend web development
- Expert-level proficiency in React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS/SCSS
- Experience with performance automation testing and UI testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Jest, or Selenium)
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Splunk, or GCP Cloud Logging
- Strong experience with Agile methodologies, iterative development, and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience with responsive and mobile-friendly design
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and web accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work within architectural guidelines
- Experience with application development, testing, and production support
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
- Experience working with design systems and reusable component libraries
- Portfolio or GitHub showcasing frontend projects
