Business Systems Analyst

Responsibilties
- Gather requirements for system enhancements and process improvements
- Investigate issues, troubleshoot problems, and coordinate fixes or escalations
- Support multiple long-term initiatives while managing daily operational priorities
- Create user stories, testing documentation, and validation plans
- Maintain process documentation and internal knowledge repositories
- Provide end-user training, guidance, and ongoing support for business applications
- Partner with stakeholders across multiple departments and leadership levels
- Participate in an after-hours support rotation when needed
- Help identify more efficient technical solutions to business challenges
- Experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role
- Strong communication skills with both business users and technical teams
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience supporting enterprise applications or operational systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Comfortable managing changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with asset management, compliance, maintenance, or operations systems
- Reporting/dashboard tools such as Tableau, BusinessObjects, BIRT, or MicroStrategy
- Exposure to Java or XML
- Experience supporting software rollouts or user support environments
- Project coordination or prioritization experience
- Background in hospitality, entertainment, transportation, manufacturing, logistics, or large campus operations environments
