Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL Server stored procedures, functions, and queries to support grant lifecycle processes, including application intake, review, award, compliance, and reporting.
- Build and maintain backend services using .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, and Web APIs, for grant management systems.
- Develop responsive UI components using Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support end-user workflows such as application submission, review dashboards, and reporting.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate grant program requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Implement and enhance reporting capabilities for compliance, audit, and funding analysis.
- Improve database performance through indexing strategies, query tuning, and efficient data modeling.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability, security, and scalability.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including advanced stored procedures, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Solid hands-on experience with .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET MVC/Core, and Web APIs.
- Experience with front-end development using Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience working with complex, data-driven applications.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and system integrations.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working on grant management systems or similar domains, including public sector, higher education, or nonprofit funding platforms.
- Familiarity with grant lifecycle processes, compliance requirements, and reporting needs.
- Experience in product-based development environments.
- Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
