We are seeking a skilled and dedicated ADABAS / Natural Administrator with solid expertise in DB2 and ADABAS-Natural to join our team. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in high-availability environments and have a strong background in core mainframe technologies including IBM z/OS, VSAM, and related tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 support for mainframe applications and databases
- Analyze incidents, identify root causes, and implement timely resolutions
- Monitor and maintain DB2 and ADABAS databases to ensure performance and reliability
- Operate within IBM z/OS to manage batch jobs, system logs, and resources
- Manage VSAM file structures and ensure data integrity
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams for seamless operations
- Document procedures and contribute to a support knowledge base
- Mandatory experience in DB2 and ADABAS-Natural
- Strong proficiency in IBM z/OS, VSAM, and mainframe utilities
- Hands-on experience with JCL, TSO/ISPF, and related tools
- Good knowledge of system performance tuning and job scheduling
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience in the banking or financial services domain is a plus
