Job Summary:
The position of Distribution Driver is part time as needed, with potential to turn into a full time position. A Distribution Driver ensure that products are delivered on time and in the proper condition. A Distribution Driver packs and loads products onto trucks before delivering shipments between locations in Apopka and Sanerson, Florida. Shipments will also be delivered to retail locations within the state of Florida. Except in the case of extenuating circumstances, a Distribution Driver will always adhere exactly to the route and deliver each shipment on time and with a high level of professionalism. The Distribution Driver may also be utilized for job tasks in the warehouse.
Accountabilities:
- Execute all filling and packaging procedures in an efficient manner in compliance with RWB SOP?s and all applicable manufacturing procedures
- Perform in-process and post-process sample acquisitions according to protocols or batch records
- Support new product lines and process development as needed
- Ensure compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product movement procedures
- Train future new team members as necessary
- Maintain a clean workspace
- Ensure accuracy and completeness while maintaining required packaging volume
- Embodies the culture, values, and tenets of RWB and full support of our purpose, goal, and key objectives
- Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community
- Other Duties as assigned
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Must show up on time for work every day ready to work.
- Experience packaging high volumes of product while maintaining accuracy and accountability
- Capable of providing accurate and complete data records for products.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion
- Must be able to use technology with no issues
- Delivery personnel must travel between the warehouse/store and deliver vehicle and from the delivery vehicle to the customer?s location.
- Must possess navigational skills to read a map, and locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Must be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites while carrying product
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and an above-average ability to multitask
- Manage cash drops per delivery through point of sale
- Ensure greatest customer satisfaction possible each visit and keep reliable communication
- When not driving, reports to Head of Distribution to augment the QA/Packaging team processing orders for deliveries
