An exciting opportunity is available with our client, a respected leader in the home health care industry. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) Administrator to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational leadership for the home health program, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and agency standards.
- Oversee and support clinicians in the field, including nurses and therapists, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Manage personnel matters including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and fostering professional development.
- Monitor financial performance, prepare and analyze reports, and implement strategies for cost containment and value-based purchasing.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes, reduce hospitalizations, and promote quality improvement initiatives.
- Cultivate strong relationships with patients, families, referral sources, and local healthcare providers.
- Take an active role in on-call rotation management, as a backup to the backup, ensuring that after-hours needs are promptly and professionally addressed.
- Participate in efforts to sustain and grow census, expand service areas, and support business development.
- Promote a respectful, communicative, and collaborative work environment at all levels of the organization.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the State of Virginia (or compact eligible).
- Minimum of 1 year direct patient care experience and 1 year supervisory or administrative experience, preferably in home health.
- Demonstrated hands-on leadership and problem-solving ability, with a proven track record of managing and motivating clinical staff.
- Strong business acumen and financial reporting skills.
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple locations and disciplines.
- Knowledge of home health regulations and value-based care models advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel within the service area.
