Responsibilities
Assist Senior Engineers with overseeing on-site engineering tasks to help ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.
Conduct routine site visits under supervision to help monitor construction progress, verify adherence to plans, and promote safe worksite conditions.
Perform basic engineering calculations (e.g., load capacities, water flow rates, grading) to support site design tasks, under guidance from senior staff.
Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and similar tools to assist in preparing design drawings for transportation, stormwater, and utility systems.
Contribute technical input to project teams by supporting implementation of designs, minor adjustments, and field-related solutions.
Review survey data and topographic maps to assist with site layout and preliminary design efforts.
Support the preparation of quantity takeoffs and cost estimates, contributing to project feasibility analysis and budget planning.
Assist in drafting permit application materials and public documentation with oversight from senior engineers.
Apply sustainable engineering principles in design support activities for environmentally responsible infrastructure.
