HSPS Legal Services, a regional leader in legal support, is expanding again, and we're looking for a full-time Legal Clerk to join our dynamic team! About the Role
As a Legal Clerk/Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our team by managing and prioritizing a high volume of tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
- Utilizing our internal workflow database to prepare and process documents.
- Handling incoming documents from courts.
- Printing and filing legal documents.
- Sorting and distributing documents to various locations across the region and country.
This position requires someone who can work with a sense of urgency, maintain accuracy, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proficiency in the use and operation of standard office equipment, including scanners, copiers, and printers.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple competing tasks and demands with accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A minimum of 1 year of order/data entry experience.
- Exceptional accuracy and a typing speed of 60 WPM (preferred).
- Well-developed communication skills and the ability to interact positively with individuals at all levels.
- A strong understanding that team performance is more significant than individual performance.
- A natural sense of urgency in your work.
