What You Will Do:
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and plumbing maintenance across the plant, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
- Install and modify electrical systems such as conduits, wiring, switches, and control components.
- Diagnose and repair motors, pumps, boilers, hydraulics, compressors, CNC machines, and other production equipment to minimize downtime.
- Use diagnostic tools—including PLCs—to troubleshoot issues, test components, and predict equipment failures.
- Read and work from mechanical and electrical drawings; fabricate or modify parts as needed.
- Test and verify repairs or new installations before returning equipment to production.
- Dismantle machinery to access problem areas and determine corrective actions in coordination with plant personnel.
- Perform equipment upgrades, general housekeeping, and operate forklifts or scissor lifts as required.
- Follow standard maintenance practices and effectively use tools, materials, and test equipment for plant systems.
What You Bring:
- 8–10 years of hands-on maintenance mechanic experience, with a strong track record of keeping production equipment running smoothly.
- Ability to work independently and confidently in a fast-paced environment—someone who takes initiative and manages their own workflow effectively.
- Strong electrical knowledge, including the ability to read schematics and work safely with single- and three-phase circuits.
- Comfort operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and working at heights when needed.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving, with the ability to quickly assess issues and make sound decisions on the floor.
- Experience in metal fabrication and welding is a plus and allows for greater versatility in repairs and modifications.
- Physically capable of standing, bending, walking, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs as part of daily work.
- Flexible team player willing to assist with additional tasks to support smooth plant operations.
