St. John's College of Nursing is seeking an Academic Faculty-Adjunct to join our team. The Academic Faculty-Adjunct position supports the ongoing implementation of academic nursing programs which are aligned with the college's mission. Academic adjunct nursing faculty members are responsible for providing high-quality education, training, and evaluation to nursing students. Adjunct nursing faculty collaborate on curriculum review, revision, and development in all related educational settings.

Education Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing plus 5 years nursing experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Doctoral degree is required for Master’s and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs.

Experience Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in nursing is required.
• Experiences in higher education or clinical education is preferred.
• (This experience level is required in addition to the experience that would be required in lieu of education if colleague does not meet Master's Degree requirement.)

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice is required.
• Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) license is required for master’s Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) track.
