Role Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer for a full-time hybrid position in Truckee, CA. In this role, you will lead design projects, including conceptual development, space planning, and overseeing construction documentation. Collaboration with clients, architects, and contractors is a key aspect of this position. You will guide projects from initial concept through final installation, ensuring quality, functionality, and design excellence. Some work may be conducted remotely, though regular on-site coordination will be required to ensure successful project execution.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Interior Design and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) selection and specification.
- Expertise in Space Planning, Architecture, and synthesizing layout designs for aesthetic and functional goals.
- Strong skills in Construction Drawings, project documents, and technical drafting.
- Excellent project management abilities, including budget oversight, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Knowledge of sustainable and modern design principles is a plus.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design and documentation software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field, with at least 5 years of professional experience in high-end residential design.
