Resort Food Runner/Busser

Overview:

We are seeking polished and service-oriented Food Runners/Bussers to join the front-of-house team at a luxury five-star property. This role is essential in delivering a seamless dining experience for high-end guests by providing prompt support to servers and maintaining the cleanliness and elegance of the dining space. Ideal candidates thrive in sophisticated environments and consistently exceed five-star service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver food from the kitchen to tables with accuracy, efficiency, and elegance.
• Assist servers with table maintenance: clear used dishes, refill water and beverages, and reset tables promptly and neatly.
• Ensure dining areas are consistently pristine, polished, and aligned with five-star presentation standards.
• Coordinate closely with the culinary and service teams to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
• Handle guest interactions with discretion, professionalism, and a high level of courtesy.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of dining areas for service periods and events.
• Maintain proper stock and cleanliness of side stations, linen closets, and service areas.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and hotel protocols.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, or upscale hospitality venue preferred.
• Outstanding attention to detail, appearance, and guest service etiquette.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining calm, gracious composure.
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and carry trays or items for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish or other languages) are a plus.

Compensation: $16.00 per hour
