Revenue Operations Specialist

HSG Advisors
Louisville, KY Full Time
POSTED ON 7/17/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 1/12/2027

The Role

Reports to: HSG Revenue leadership; sits within the Revenue function and partners closely with Marketing.

The Revenue Operations Specialist executes HSG's targeted outbound revenue strategy as a day-to-day function. The structure, target lists, and plan are already built; this role runs them — precise, segment- and account-specific outreach tied directly to what HSG wants to sell, deliberately distinct from broad, large-scale marketing outbound.

This is a support and execution role, not a leadership or quota-carrying one. You will not close deals or make cold phone calls, but you will own processes for outbound lead creation and management of marketing-sourced Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), help judge when each is ready for internal handoff, and route engaged prospects to the right HSG resource. You will work closely with Salesforce, marketing, and revenue leadership to keep the engine running and aligned to what we sell.

Growth opportunity: as the function matures and more of the motion is automated, there is room to grow into broader revenue operations, demand generation, or a business development track.

What You'll Own

•   Targeted outbound campaign execution (~65%): Run targeted cold and warm campaigns — matching messaging, content, and attachments to each segment, on a reliable day-to-day cadence — using available automation and AI tooling to run sends efficiently and streamline repeatable steps.

•   Marketing SQL ownership & handoff (~10%): Own marketing-sourced SQLs, monitor engagement signals, and route ready leads to the right HSG person with context.

•   Funnel instrumentation & reporting (~15%): Build the metrics in Salesforce that show which targets and materials convert, and give leadership reliable funnel visibility.

•   Revenue data & asset stewardship (~10%): Keep the cold-target list and content library clean and current, and own email deliverability and compliance (unsubscribe handling, send volume, domain reputation).

Success Milestones

First 90 Days

•   Full command of the outbound strategy, target lists, content library, and supporting Salesforce environment and tooling

•   Targeted campaigns running on a predictable, documented cadence — in steady operation, not just first sends

•   Marketing SQL ownership operational, with a consistent engagement digest to leadership

•   Funnel reporting stood up in Salesforce and at least one automation live, with the next targets identified

At Six Months

•   Outbound runs as a reliable, largely self-sustaining engine with minimal one-off effort

•   SQL ownership and routing are routine; leadership has dependable visibility into engagement and pipeline contribution

•   Funnel metrics actively drive targeting and content decisions on conversion evidence

•   Multiple steps of the motion are automated; the manual footprint is materially smaller than at start

•   Target list, content library, and deliverability are clean, current, and well-governed

What We're Looking For

•   1–3 years in revenue operations, sales or marketing operations, or enablement — a sharp candidate near entry level will be considered

•   Hands-on experience running targeted email/content campaigns and managing a lead funnel

•   Working proficiency with Salesforce — reports, campaigns, contact management, and data hygiene

•   Comfort with AI and automation tools to run and accelerate real workflows

•   Reliable, consistent process execution and strong cross-functional communication

•   Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred

•   Nice to have: healthcare or B2B professional-services background; email deliverability/compliance familiarity (CAN-SPAM, domain reputation); Tableau or funnel-analytics exposure

Logistics

•   Louisville-based, in-office work is strongly preferred — in-person collaboration is a meaningful advantage in this role. The position can be performed remotely, and we encourage strong candidates to apply regardless of location.

•   Full-time, exempt. For remote team members, travel is limited — generally 2–3 business days per quarter on-site in Louisville (10% or less).

•   Competitive compensation including an incentive plan, comprehensive medical/dental/life insurance, and 401(k).
