Role Description
This full-time, on-site P6 Scheduler role is based in Orlando, FL and focuses on planning, monitoring, and updating construction project schedules using Primavera P6. The P6 Scheduler will develop baseline schedules, maintain detailed activity sequencing, and integrate cost and resource data to support effective project controls. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with project managers, field teams, and stakeholders to track progress, analyze variances, and recommend schedule recovery or mitigation strategies. The role also involves preparing schedule reports, dashboards, and delay analyses to support claims, change orders, and client communications. The P6 Scheduler will contribute to continuous improvement of scheduling standards, ensure alignment with CPM best practices, and support the delivery of projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience (10 years) in construction project scheduling using Primavera P6, including baseline development, updates, and resource loading.
- Strong knowledge of CPM scheduling techniques, construction phasing, and sequencing across commercial, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
- Proficiency in project controls, including progress measurement, variance analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
- Experience supporting construction delay claims, time impact analyses, and cost/damages assessments.
- Ability to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field personnel to gather accurate schedule data and resolve issues.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present schedule information to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with BIM or other construction-related software is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Ability to work on-site in Jackson, MO, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities and client needs.
- Worked on Mega Projects (Plus)
