About the Role
We’re looking for a Strategist with strong research, analysis and storytelling skills to join our team supporting LG Electronics Media Solutions (MS) and Home Solutions (HS) brand marketing team.
This role is perfect for someone with 4 years of experience in brand strategy, creative strategy, or communications planning—ideally within an agency setting—who knows how to turn insights into actionable strategy.
You’ll report into the Director of Brand Strategy and Integrated Marketing and help translate market and audience data into sharp strategic thinking to support product sales and marketing initiatives. You’re comfortable using syndicated research platforms, digging into data, and making connections that inspire marketing, creative, and customer experience solutions.
Your Role
- Analyze market trends, competitive insights, and audience behaviors to identify white space opportunities.
- Craft creative briefs to guide creative development.
- Support audience strategy through customer insights and persona development.
- Develop product positioning, narratives and messaging frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Uncover and synthesize audience, market, and cultural insights to inform brand, campaign, and experience strategy.
- Conduct competitive analysis and trend reporting to identify whitespace, category shifts, and emerging behaviors.
- Be a power user of platforms like MRI, Mintel, Statista, and OpenBrand to bring data-driven thinking into creative and strategic work.
- Pull and interpret proprietary data (e.g., LG Customer Data Platform, CRM, VOC) to inform messaging, targeting, and journey mapping.
- Support and analyze custom research studies (surveys, interviews) to deepen understanding of consumer motivations.
- Support the brand management team in developing product positioning, narrative and strategic messaging to communicate clear benefits.
- Develop clear, compelling presentations that distill complex findings into strategic recommendations.
- Be a collaborator with other team members across brand, content, retail, and digital to ensure insights fuel campaign and experience development.
- Contribute to new business efforts and special projects by applying insight to audience, category, and culture.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in brand strategy, creative strategy, or communications planning, with proven experience at a marketing or advertising agency.
- Skilled in qualitative and quantitative research, competitive and trend analysis, and customer journey mapping.
- Desired: Advanced knowledge of MRI, Mintel, Statista, and digital tools such as Google Analytics, and social listening platforms.
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills—you know how to make insights matter to creatives and marketers.
- Naturally curious, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
