What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full time Security Officer position at HS Wholesale?
This job is located in Addison, IL. We are seeking a Warehouse Security Officer to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual will secure the assigned premises as well as identify risks. In this security role you must be able to utilize rapid and effective judgment in responding to unusual or emergency situations. Reliability, punctuality, professionalism and attention to detail are the most important characteristics we look for in this role.
Rotating morning/evening shift: *Start/End time subject to change based on business needs.
Shift
- Monday - Friday : 1:00 pm - Closing
- Sun: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm * As needed
Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Monitor camera system and report suspicious activity
- Manage employee badges and assign temporary badges
- Close building
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of Security experience in manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Must be available to work rotating shifts if requested
- Experience with CCTV or similar security related monitoring equipment
- Willingness to participate in background check and drug testing process once offer is made.
