Baler Operator

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM (1-hour lunch break)

Position Overview:
The Warehouse Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. This role plays a key part in supporting daily operations by ensuring all waste, recycling, and debris are properly handled and that work areas remain tidy and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Empty all trash and recycling bins throughout the warehouse and transport waste to the outside dumpster.
• Collect, break down, and organize cardboard boxes; operate or load materials into the warehouse baler.
• Sweep warehouse aisles and walkways regularly to maintain a clean and safe floor environment.
• Clean and tidy workstations, including removing debris, wiping surfaces, and organizing materials as needed.
• Ensure waste and recycling bins around the warehouse floor are properly positioned, labeled, and maintained.
• Notify management of any safety concerns, facility issues, or equipment problems.
• Assist with general upkeep and cleanliness tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move materials such as cardboard, waste bags, and cleaning equipment (up to 50 lbs).
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with ongoing physical activity.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
• Prior warehouse or custodial experience is a plus but not required.
