We’re seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join a dynamic real estate team and take ownership of full-cycle accounting across a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle accounting: AP, AR, intercompany transactions, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and review CAM reconciliations, cash flow analyses, and capital expenditure reports.
- Collaborate closely with property managers and leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting and portfolio performance.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, GAAP standards, and audit requirements.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of property accounting experience (commercial and/or residential).
- Strong command of Yardi, or Appfolio
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills — ability to partner with operations and leadership.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
