Compensation: $60,000 to $65,000 annual, depending on experience
Role Description
Client Relationship Management
- Support Employee Benefits Account Managers and the client relationships, including responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and advocating for clients.
Benefits Administration & Systems
- Set up and administer employee benefits for clients and help maintain accurate records in Employee Navigator.
Compliance & Regulatory Management
- Prepare, review, and distribute compliance documents & benefit guides (Wrap Documents, SPDs, broker compensation disclosures) and ensure ERISA, COBRA, ACA, and HIPAA compliance.
Renewal & Process Management
- Coordinate and manage renewal processes, including tracking deadlines, preparing renewal packets, and communicating with carriers.
Problem Solving & Issue Resolution
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies, billing errors, and claims issues; escalate complex matters as needed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Benefits Administration and Employee Benefits to manage plan enrollments, changes, compliance, and employee communications.
- Candidates should possess skills in Insurance to interpret plan documents, coordinate with carriers, and support claims and coverage questions.
- Candidates should possess skills in Customer Service to respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and provide clear, respectful support to employers and employees.
- Candidates should possess skills in Account Management to build strong client relationships, track benefit plan performance, and support renewals and plan changes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex benefit information in clear, accessible language.
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools and benefits/HR systems; ability to work with data and maintain accurate records.
- Proficiency with Employee Navigator
- Experience in employee benefits, HR, or insurance is preferred; relevant certification or a degree in business, HR, or a related field is beneficial.
- Must have Colorado Health & Life license.
