Automated Packaging Line Operator

Picture this: it’s 5:55 PM and you’re stepping onto the production floor for second shift. You review the day’s schedule, gather your PPE, and begin preparing your line. By 6:00 PM, you’re setting up equipment to exact SOPs, ready to run a complete product cycle from startup to shutdown with confidence.

• Set up, run, and shut down packaging and processing lines according to product-specific SOPs and the daily production schedule.
• Produce high-quality output that meets all product specifications while hitting labor and efficiency targets.
• Document quality checks and production data using good documentation practices (GDP).
• Keep your area spotless and organized using 6S lean methods.
• Operate material handling equipment safely, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and barrel handlers.
• Label and palletize finished goods using standardized pallet patterns.
• Support warehouse organization and inventory accuracy using RF scanners and cycle counts.
• Flag and help implement improvements in safety, ergonomics, and efficiency.
• Assist with line changeovers and move production equipment from line to line when needed.
• Tackle other duties as assigned to keep the team moving.

• Location: Randolph, WI
• Shift option: 2nd shift, Monday–Wednesday 6:00 PM–6:00 AM; Thursday 6:00 PM–11:30 PM
• Pay: $21.50 per hour (2nd shift)
• Type: Contract-to-hire

• Stamina for 12-hour shifts, 3.5 days per week, with overtime as needed on Thursdays and/or Fridays.
• Reliable, on-time attendance for all scheduled days and shift times.
• High school diploma or GED, or applicable manufacturing experience.
• Preferred: at least 6 months operating packaging machinery in a food or feed manufacturing environment.
