Senior Level Electrical Engineer (W2 Only, No C2C)

Job Summary


Key Accountabilities

  • Perform system analysis using operational criteria and tools (CYME, EMS) Or PSSE Planning tool or TARA
  • Works closely with system study engineer and project scheduler to ensure accuracy of long-term shutdown schedule.
  • Organizes and leads huddle and shutdown schedule review meetings.
  • Organizes and leads cross-function team meetings especially for complex and back-to-back shutdowns in the same area/regions.
  • Champions continuous improvement (CI) initiatives focused on shutdown optimization and coordination of resources.


Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology and at least 4 years of relevant job experience.


Other Qualifications (Preferred)

  • A Master's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience maintaining State Estimator technical applications. Familiarity with Energy Management System (EMS) including State Estimator (SE), Contingency Analysis (CA), and N-1 conditions operating practices.
  • Familiar with PSSE or TARA applications.
  • Ability to provide operational feedback to improve EMS system models based on real-time measurements.


Additional Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs like Excel and Word.
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral.
  • Good interpersonal skills for building relationships within the team.
