Job Description
Based in Mather, CA, our reputable IT Asset Management company is currently seeking a reliable and skilled Dispatcher/Logistics Supervisor. Your primary responsibility will be coordinating all inbound, outbound, and inter-facility shipments.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all inbound, outbound, and inter-facility shipments as per company requirements.
- Dispatch internal drivers to precise customer locations according to their requests and requirements.
- Obtain quotes, plan, and assign tasks to third-party trucks, providing clear pick-up and delivery instructions.
- Generate, review, and verify all shipping documents, including Bills of Lading (BOL) and hazardous waste manifests.
- Develop and manage daily operational and routing schedules.
- Transmit work orders, messages, and specific instructions to and from customers, work teams, supervisors, and drivers.
- Resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally, maintaining high standards of communication.
- Oversee and ensure driver compliance with service hours requirements. Conduct daily and monthly inspections of all trucks, promptly reporting any required repairs.
- Uphold the cleanliness and basic maintenance of all vehicles.
- Assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Undertake any additional related tasks as required.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of dispatching experience.
- Strong verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Clean driving record, with the ability to pass drug screenings and background checks.
- Flexibility in adapting to alternate work schedules.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Willingness to undergo provided training.
Working Schedule Day Shift, Monday Friday (On-Site Work)
