What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Driver position at HRT Professionals?
HRT Professionals is seeking professional candidates for the position of Behavioral Health Driver.
We are a secure car transport service for behavioral health patients. Our drivers are tasked with the safe transportation of patients from the emergency rooms or residential settings to behavioral health facilities.
Due to the nature of the job we are seeking candidates with previous experience in EMS, Corrections, Security, Hospital Security or any Behavior health fields for Full Time position. Candidates must possess a clean driving history, be able to pass a background check, be 25 years or older, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Currently the drivers work a 2-2-3 Schedule or also known as a Panama Schedule, but it is slightly altered to the needs of the company. We are a 24/7 365-day business. We work as a non-emergent transport, but we do take calls like a normal 911 dispatch would. We take calls 24/7 and if available we send a driver right away to the transporting hospital.
That being said we give each full time employee a minimum of 40 hours per week. We try to limit the driving to 12 hours per day (this could be at one time or different times throughout the day)
HRT does take Voluntary patients along with Involuntary patients, so we do drive secure vehicles. The vehicles the drivers use are company vehicles, they are equipped with safety gear. Each car has a full partition between the driver and the patient, along with window guards for the rear windows. A camera that records both the cab of the vehicle and the front of the vehicle. GPS units to monitor location along with speed.
Starting pay: $18 per hour and up

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
