Associate Algorithm Researcher- New York, NY- Use Python, C , & var comp-assisted tools to supp the dvlpmnt of algos to analyze the co-mvmnt of asset returns across glbl mkts. Conduct academic rsrch on stats, ML & optmztn of low-lat live trading C pltfrm code. Use C , Python & stat methods to diagnose errors & mk imprvmnts to tools & pltfrms used for rsrching algo trading. Conduct rsrch on novel ML technqs & stat modeling in trading strats to improve order placement. Mentor Algo Engrs in the design & trblshting of distrib stat ML systems in Python & in hand optmztn of C code. Create distrib high-perf stat analysis featrs for implmntn in a hybrid of C & Python, & drive adoption of those featrs across the org. Req's: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equiv) in SW Engg, Comp Engg, Comp Sci, or a rel quant field, plus 3 yrs of exp in the pos offered, SW Engr (Acceleration Engr), Algo Engr, or rel exp. All req'd exp must have incldd: Exp using C & Python to diagnose errors & mk imprvmnts to distrib tools & pltfrms. Exp testing, trblshting, & modifying sw apps to resolve op issues. Exp w/ optmztn of hybrid C /Python distrib systems. Employer will accept any amt of professional exp with the req'd skills. Salary Range: $200K-300K.
