What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Team Lead position at HRmango?
We’re seeking a hands-on Warehouse Lead for a client in Cheyenne, WY to support daily distribution center operations, drive productivity, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency across the site. This role partners closely with leadership and acts as a backup to the Site Lead when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily DC operations: receiving, storage, and shipping
- Monitor KPIs, productivity, and quality metrics; ensure accurate timekeeping
- Lead and support warehouse staff; set expectations and model performance
- Maintain 5S standards, safety compliance, and SOX adherence
- Coordinate workflows, inter-building transfers, and task requests
- Serve as Shipping & Receiving SME
- Conduct safety audits and support training initiatives
- Manage client communication and ensure smooth operations
- Step in for Site Lead as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous lead or supervisory experience
- Background in logistics, distribution, or manufacturing
- Equipment experience: forklift, pallet jack, electric tug
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
