Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dump Truck Driver Class B to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class B dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, asphalt and debris across construction sites
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the dump truck, checking for mechanical issues and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Load and unload materials efficiently, coordinating with site supervisors and equipment operators
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents or injuries
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules and site conditions
- Maintain accurate logs of hours worked, materials transported, and vehicle maintenance records
Requirements
- Valid Class B commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience (5 years) operating dump trucks in construction or similar environments
- Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to perform basic maintenance checks on heavy equipment and trucks
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
