HR Source is looking for an analytical, detail-oriented, and dependable HR Data and Survey Analyst to join our team. In this role, you'll help support compensation, benefits, employee engagement, and other HR-related surveys from initial planning through final delivery. You'll build and administer online surveys, process and analyze data, prepare high-quality reports, and work with members, clients, and internal stakeholders to help turn data into meaningful insights.

Where are we?

Our office is in Downers Grove, Illinois. Our team currently enjoys a hybrid work schedule. Occasional, single-day travel throughout the Chicago metro region to attend conferences and work events is required.

What are the job duties?
  • Develop, build, test, and administer online surveys and related participant communications.
  • Coordinate survey timelines, participation, and follow-up while providing support to members, clients, and survey participants.
  • Import, clean, validate, organize, and analyze large survey datasets using Excel, SPSS, and other applications.
  • Apply established statistical and benchmarking methods to identify trends, patterns, and meaningful findings.
  • Prepare accurate, professional reports, tables, charts, dashboards, and executive summaries that translate data into useful insights.
  • Present and explain survey findings to help users interpret and apply the results.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, protect confidential information, and improve survey processes, reports and quality control practices.

What are the job requirements?
  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, data analytics, economics, business, human resources, social science research, or a related field required with a minimum of three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the ability to organize, manipulate, validate, and analyze large datasets accurately.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with survey platforms, database systems, data visualization tools, and statistical software preferred.
  • Experience with compensation, benefits, HR analytics, survey research, and benchmarking data preferred.

What is the work environment?

This is a hybrid position and requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the office. Occasionally, single-day travel throughout the Chicago metro region may be required for conferences and work events.
