What are the responsibilities and job description for the C Shift - Creeler position at HR Services Brand?
Position Summary: The Creeler is primarily responsible for creeling assigned yarns on correct knitting machines in an efficient and safe manner.
Position Responsibilities:
- Creeler will creel twelve (12) machines total.
- Keep yarn from being damaged while transferring from yarn boxes to yarn pin trucks.
- Stack yarn on yarn pin trucks only one layer above top row of pins.
- Creelers are responsible for removing empty cones and breaking down yarn boxes.
- Follow all safety procedures/policies and advise management of any unsafe conditions.
- Keep work area neat and clean.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Role Qualifications/Essential Skills and Experience:
- Associate must be able to read and verify yarns printed on knitting tickets with Knitter and Knitting Mechanic.
- Related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
